South West Water Tariff Freeze to 2015    10 February, 2014
Monday 10 February 2014
£160million investment for 2014/15 and prices frozen

We are pleased to announce that South West Water is planning to invest almost £160million in improving its services in 2014-15, while freezing standard tariffs and standing charges for all our household and business customers until April 2015.

This year’s investment package is part of a £700million programme between 2010 and 2015 which supports 4,000 jobs in the wider economy. It includes projects to further improve bathing water quality across the region; upgrades to water and sewage treatment works, reservoirs and pipe networks and more investment in renewable energy schemes.

The £50 Government Contribution for all South West Water’s household customers will also reduce bills again this year and around 13,000 customers switching to a meter are forecast to see their bills fall by an average of between £300 and £400.

Exact charges paid by customers will vary according to the services they use, their tariff, the rateable value of their property or the amount of water they use.
